Grandma was so happy when we got there because they have changed her room back to the way before she broke her hip. She is enjoying setting in her chair and watching her TV again. She told us she was going to ask them for "her walker" back, so she can get up and start moving around. I told her they are just waiting until they are sure she is ready for it! I know none of us want her to fall!
These two kids are watching their Cartoons!
I told Jayden to tell Great Great MeMe, what he was doing at our computer at our grooming shop the other day. (Now remember he only two!) He said, "I was checking my email!" She got a kick out of that and I wasn't expecting her to laugh so hard that I almost didn't get the picture taken in time and it kind a cut her face off. Picture below.
Grandma was having some trouble seeing good enough to read her Church News, so Sandy read it to her.
She said, that she keeps on forgetting to put her tear drops in her eyes. So I went down and talked to the nurses and they are going to start doing it morning and night.
Grandma, always ask me if I see any long hairs in her eye brows to pluck them for her so I did that again to day for her. She told us she filed her nails and had them polished. So I said, oh they are so pretty let me take a picture of them...

She said, what are you taking so many cotton-pickin pictures of me all the time... lol
So, I told her I send you all pictures and a weekly update on her. I asked her if she had anything she wanted to tell you all. She said yea, "Tell them all I'm just as ornery as all get out!" Then she laughed!
She is Truly back to her old self.
I said, is there any thing else you want to tell them. She said tell them I'm gaining weight. Her one nurse was in the room when she said that and the nurse said she is eating very good and has been eating everything on her plate.
She said,
"It's all going to my
belly and them patted it!
She said to Sandy,
"Cripe, I don't know why it always has to go right to my belly... and then she started laughing again.
Is Jayden in Time out? Well let Grammie put it this way... he is two and he does have his moments.
Many of you already know that Sandy and I lost our 1st. Standard Poodle, Addie
of 11 1/2 years.
Grandma always liked Addie and would even ask about her at times. She wanted to know all about what happened and she was sadden by the news of Addie's passing. Some of our poodles have even went to visit Grandma at Bremen Health care. When ever we had puppies and Grandma was able to come to our home she always made sure she went in the room to see them.
If you would care to you can click on the link to read a page I created to honor our Addie
Grandma, getting ready to steal a good bye kiss!
I added the flower in Grandma's hair and the lei, so she was fitting for her web page. I don't think she would have like a grass skirt...LOL
Then again maybe she would have!!!
If you would like to say something to Grandma or give her a message or share some memories, I'll be happy to give it to her when we go visit her each week.
Also if you know of someone that would like to receive these weekly reminder please have them email me
